Getting Through the Pattern Stash


I’m sure many crocheters and knitters out there would agree that they have a long list of patterns to try and not enough time to make them all!  At the beginning of 2013 I took one of those free calendars and marked up the entire thing with patterns I want to promote/test out every month.  Trying to stick to it is a little difficult sometimes when life gets busy but for the most part I’ve been keeping on track.  I’ve scratched a few patterns off the “must make” list including:

This flower beanie (Perenni hat pattern by Addydae Designs).

 
 
This prairie-style bonnet (pattern by Creations by Valorie).
 
 
This chevron bonnet (pattern by Simply Hookin It).

 
 
This team football helmet (adapted from the pattern by Cute & Crafty Crochet).
 

I’ve also made some slippers (can’t believe I don’t have photos of them!) for a friend’s birthday.


What’s coming up you ask?  More team sports inspired hats!  I have plans to offer another football inspired hat (with or without earflaps), hockey-inspired hats, fun character hats for kids (and grown-ups!) to play dress-up every day, on Halloween or just to look awesome in the winter!

Spring 2014 Clutches (April/May/June)

Well aren't I the slacker. My desire to share my creations with you through this blog of mine has taken a back seat as of late as I work through your custom orders! Necktie Clutches - Ready for Gift Giving!

Well the show was a success (in my books at least) since I sold some of each type of stock and I sold to not just my own friends but also to new customers! I do have a lot of stock left over and I would love these necktie clutches to find good homes. All clutches are available at the time of posting. These are cross-posted for sale. Average size of a clutch is 10 inches wide by 5.5 inches tall. The opening is 6 inches and there is a small 6-inch pocket with velcro-closure on the inside. Shipping is $4 letter mail within Canada for one clutch. Parcel with tracking and insurance within Canada starts at $10 depending on your location. Shipping to U.S. is $5 for light packet (one clutch). Happy New Year, Social Media and other news

Most of my social media presence has been on Facebook but I've recently branched out to Instagram. You can follow me there! Allison on Instagram   I realize that not everyone uses social media but they still want to be able to order necktie clutches from me. Well now anyone who can access the internet can see my current stock of available neckties to choose from!
